UN Ocean Decade
Ozeaon’s is endorsed as a project (Action 10.7) by the UN Ocean Decade. This places the project within a recognised global framework for ocean knowledge, literacy, participation, and action. Strengthening Ozeaon’s legitimacy as infrastructure for ocean-relevant learning, innovation, and collaboration.
Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs)
Early Career Ocean Professionals is a UN Ocean Decade Programme dedicated to supporting a global network of emerging ocean professionals. Ozeaon is endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade under this programme and our long-term direction includes education, collaboration, participation, and support for future-facing ocean communities.
EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters Charter
The Charter connects Ozeaon to a wider European mission focused on restoring ocean and water health, reducing pollution, and protecting ecosystems. It strengthens Ozeaon’s place within a recognised European transition agenda for healthier ocean and water futures.
Partners4Ocean Platform Member
Ozeaon is a member of the Partners4Ocean Platform, a European initiative that connects organisations and stakeholders working to strengthen ocean literacy, knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and public engagement across Europe.
Wellbeing Economy Alliance
The Wellbeing Economy Alliance is aligned with economic models that prioritise human and ecological wellbeing over extractive growth. This relationship supports Ozeaon’s wider positioning within regenerative and wellbeing-oriented transition thinking.
RISE UP for the Ocean
RISE UP for the Ocean reflects a wider movement for healthier, more inclusive ocean futures. For Ozeaon, this matters because the platform is intended to support not only knowledge and innovation, but wider ocean-facing participation and action.
Ocean Community
Ocean Community connects Ozeaon to a global ocean innovation ecosystem. This is especially important because Ozeaon was accepted into the Ocean Community Challenge 2026, strengthening its visibility within a live ocean-impact environment. Ozeaon came first in the Ocean Community Challenge Vote 2026.
Global Partnership on Plastic Pollution and Marine Litter (GPML)
GPML sits within the wider ecosystem addressing marine pollution, systems change, and coordinated environmental response. Ozeaon is intended to contribute to broader ocean-health and public-interest innovation contexts including reducing plastic pollution and developing biodegradable alternatives.
Politécnico de Leiria
Politécnico de Leiria is where Ozeaon’s early academic and design-research foundation took shape. This relationship matters because the project began through structured inquiry in design, wellbeing, sustainability, and ocean-related systems, not only through startup development.
DOHE Go-Together
DOHE Go-Together helped support Ozeaon’s early startup development and execution path. The programme contributed to the shift from concept into a more structured venture journey.
ADT4Blue
ADT4Blue helped refine Ozeaon’s business model more deeply within a blue-economy and advanced-digital-technologies context. It also helped surface the early direction that later became OCIS, strengthening both sector fit and adjacent strategic development.
Climate KIC’s ClimateLaunchpad
ClimateLaunchpad was important because it helped sharpen Ozeaon’s climate-tech positioning, business model, and startup narrative. It strengthened how the project communicated its market relevance and its role as infrastructure for regenerative innovation.
F6S Top Company
Ozeaon has been ranked #7 among Social Enterprise startups in Portugal on F6S for July 2026, placing us among the highest-ranked startups in a community of more than 2 million companies worldwide.
Tandem Creative Dev
Tandem Creative Dev supports Ozeaon as a technical delivery partner, providing full-stack development, database architecture, Technical Project Management and AI integration capability across Ozeaon platform and OCIS build.
Zentix Soft
Zentix Soft supports Ozeaon as a technical delivery partner, providing specialist capability across full-stack development, blockchain engineering, solution architecture, database design, business analysis, and quality assurance.
